4 Years of Reviews in Review: Mineral Make Up

I am not affiliated with these companies. I purchased items for myself unless otherwise noted in the actual reviews linked to below. My opinion is completely honest no matter how I receive any items mentioned on this blog.

Alima Pure is just plain awesome.  I really wish someone near me sold their line so I could go play and pick out new items but I am stuck getting samples to review or buying stuff online.  I have yet to try anything that I don't like, even their foundation.  Their eyecolors are my favorite, but then, I have a weakness for great loose mineral eyeshadows and liners. Their foundation selector is back up on the website after the revamped the site and I recommend it.  I found that I was actually wrong about my own skintone.  When I tried it out the first time, the colors seemed too light for me, only one was a match and it was the darkest one.  I  am going to need to do the selector again and order another sample kit to see if some not so fair shades are better for me.

The Lotus lipgloss had a weird smell to me so I don't wear it that often, the lipstick was nice and I still grab it here and there.  The eyescolors though, GORGEOUS!  I absolutely love them so much depth, so pretty.  Love them!

Everyday Minerals was fun to test out.  Jupiter is a great color for me so I still wear it and Sea Horse is adorable and a great highlighter.

Au Naturale was another fun one to discover.  It was fun to test enough products to dedicate a whole week to them.  My favorites now are the powder eyeshadows and liner pencil though all the other products are nice too.  I am definitely a loose mineral/powder girl. That is just my style.

Purely You Minerals was a more recent discovery.  Their products were really nice and I promised I would update about how the one eyecolor didn't work for me.  Bare would not work on my skin, it barely looked like it was there but when I foiled it, ooh la la!  This is a color to wetline or apply wet for sure.  Such depth.  I am not wearing their foundation right now, if only because I own so much foundation in other brands and am trying not to shop and stock up too much.

Dust is gorgeous, local and natural and the creator/owner is a sweetheart.  I rarely have the chance to make it to her spa but when I see her, she remembers me and says hello with a hug.  It can be a bit pricey but I love supporting local business and the colors are really pretty too.

The She Space I will update as a group.  While TSS no longer exists, the colors are fabulous.  I went a bit overboard so I have parted with some of the colors but kept a lot of favorites.  I have to honor my rules about keeping what I wear and selling or gifting anything else.  Beautiful sparkles!
