Vapour Organic Beauty Atmosphere Soft Focus Foundation

I am not affiliated with this company. I purchased this item myself.  My opinion is completely honest no matter how I receive any items mentioned on this blog.

I signed up for an event with a makeup artist at a local natural earth-friendly store that carries a few lines of natural makeup that I haven't really tried yet.  I was excited to see what she used on me so I would know where to start.   I don't have any pics of the look she did because I was also spending the day with my friend and her very active 3 year old which didn't leave a lot of self photography time.  I did, however buy a couple of the items she used on me and so far I am quite happy.

The first item she used was Vapour Organic Beauty Atmosphere Soft Focus Foundation.  This feels so soft and light on your skin.  It is very different from the typical mainstream liquid foundation and it almost applies like a dry foundation mixed with a moisturizer.  My skin really likes it.

It gives a really dewy look on its own.  If you want to stay really dewy, you can apply cream blush or highlighters, if you want to tone it down a little, you can apply some finishing powder and use powder blush or bronzer.  I tend to go the toned down route, just because I tend to get oily throughout the day and don't like to look too shiny.

She applied it with a blending sponge but I am lazy and use my hands.  I apply to my T-zone and cheeks which is where I need the most coverage, around my nose.  If I really need some heavy duty coverage, I will use a mineral foundation but for days when I want a quick fresh look and don't worry too much about coverage, I wear this.  Lately, this seems to be more and more often.

She matched me to S100 though I think now that it is summer and I have seen more daylight,  I could probably go a bit darker.

This foundation retails for $48 but you might be able to grab a deal on it.  I got it at a small discount because of booking the appointment.  You can also follow Vapour Organic Beauty or Spirit Beauty Lounge to see when they have sales or specials since you can buy this from both websites.
Blended in, you can see how dewy and moist my skin looks, even on the back of my hand

  1. I seem to be seeing more and more about this brand popping up on blogs! I'm pretty obsessed with foundations, so I'm always up for trying new ones. This definitely sounds like something to add to my wishlist
