Burt's Bees Tinted Lip Balm in Sweet Violet

I apologize for the week off from blogging.  I lost a dear friend last week and needed to take some time.  I am back and ready to blog again.

I am back with some great affordable lippies.  Today, I am going to start with Burt's Bees Tinted a Lip Balm in Sweet Violet, a new shade! When I saw a new shade at Target I nearly squee'd with joy LOL I am a big fan of their tinted lip balms and this color is no exception.

Sweet Violet is a great pinky purpley shade, well violet I guess.  I used to love a Sheer Violet lip gloss from Bare Escentuals and this color is very similar to that but in tinted lip balm form which is great because you get the great color and full pouty lip look without the sticky gloss feel.

These retail for $7. They keep your lips moisturized with that hint of color that helps give your face some oomph.  For me, I tend to look really pale without any color on my lips so I love this sort of thing.

Info from the Burts Bees Website

  1. My favorite Burt's Bees tinted balm is the pomegranate, in the yellow packaging. I have a few of the ones in brown packaging, Tiger Lily and Hibiscus are my favorites, a couple others I found had a bit of an odd scent though
