Badger Balm Seabuckthorn Hair Oil For All Hair Types

My apologies for how long it took to post this review.  Naughty beauty blogger, naughty!  I want to introduce you to the new hair oil line from Badger Balm.  They have 3 wonderful hair oils and I got to try out the Seabuckthorn Hair Oil for All Hair types.  I actually got to see this in development mode when I visited Badger this summer and then they sent me a sample of the new product once it was released.

I decided to test this out by doing a pre-shower hair treatment.  I ran the oil through my hair and massaged it into my scalp.  Then I put my hair up with a clip and let the oil do the work while I went about my business in my PJs.  I left it in for over an hour and then took my shower as usual.  I shampooed the oil out of my hair and it all came out.  My hair didn't feel all greasy or like I needed to keep shampooing to get the oily feeling to go.  My hair seemed healthier, shinier and fuller after using this oil.  I just need to figure out a weekly hair oil routine.

I think this is great to help treat my highlights since they can get a bit dry.  It is also important to maintain the health of your scalp to maintain healthy happy hair.  This oil does all that.  I highly recommend this for any hair type.  My hair is pretty healthy, curly and very fine so I prefer not to do a treatment too often but if you have thicker hair, damaged hair or hair that needs that extra oomph, do a treatment more often as needed.  It is great for all hair types, you just need to figure out how often works best for you.  This also makes a great overnight treatment.  Personally, I don't do well with anything in my hair and can't even sleep with my hair down at night so I opted to do a daytime treatment on clean dry hair instead.  It works well either way, whatever you prefer!

This retails for $18.99 for a 2 oz bottle.  Here are some pics of my adorable sample bottle:

  1. Ooh this looks great. I have been wanting to try Badger's body oils, and now I will have to add this to my wish list too. I have the driest hair from bleaching it and then dying it back with henna.
