Bare Escentuals Velvet Delights Collection

The one item I had to have from the Bare Escentuals QVC shows in May was the Velvet Delights collection.  I am a sucker for new eye colors and these had so much color to them.  I NEEDED them.

I've enjoyed testing out these colors.  My favorites are the green, Velvet Pistachio, and purple, Velvet Violet, shades of course but I was surprised by how much I liked colors like Velvet Blueberry.  I love the velvet eye formula.  They are so smooth and creamy feeling for minerals.  They have a nice matte finish but have great depth to them.  I find these shades particularly blendable (in contrast to the darker shades that came out in velvet last year).   These colors are nice blended together, with other mineral eye colors or as just one bold shade on your eyelid.

This collection is currently available at QVC and QVC.com.  Right now it is at a Featured Price of $39.98 which is a great deal for 6 full size eye colors.

Top L: Velvet Vanilla, Top R: Velvet Blueberry, Middle L: Velvet Pistachio, Middle R: Velvet Pecan, Bottom L: Velvet Violet, Bottom R: Velvet Strawberry
Colors Show in order shown above, Top L to R: Velvet Violet, Velvet Pistachio, Velvet Vanilla, Bottom L to R Velvet Strawberry, Velvet Pecan, Velvet Blueberry
Info from the QVC.com website:
What is it: A collection of six extra-velvety and creamy 100% pure bareMinerals(R) eye colors. It includes the softest, most blendable matte shades from creamy strawberry to smooth pecan.

Who is it for: All skin types and complexions. Anyone wanting creamy, matte eye colors.

Why is it different: These eye colors provide the most decadent, luxe experience. Velvety smooth and unbelievably blendable, these creamy, muted matte eye colors won't smudge, run, or fade. Free of harsh preservatives, talc, oils, waxes, and fragrance.

How do I use it: Swirl, tap, and buff eye colors onto the eyelid in natural sweeping motions. Create different looks by mixing and matching these soft, muted colors.

Multitasking never looked so good--use Velvet Strawberry as a blush, or mix with your favorite lip gloss for fresh lip color.

Dust Velvet Violet over lid. Follow by lining upper and lower lash base with Velvet Blueberry, buffing up into corner crease for delectable definition.

Apply Velvet Pistachio from lash line to crease, and then buff Velvet Pecan into full crease line.

Swipe Velvet Pecan over lid, and buff Velvet Strawberry into full crease line.

For a sweet, brightening effect to any look, dust Velvet Vanilla on brow bone and inner corner of eye.
