Just Neem - Neem Clay Mask

Many thanks to my reader friend who asked me if I had heard of Just Neem.  I hadn't heard of them, though I had heard of neem oil, and decided to look into it further.  I was sent one of their new face masks to try out, the Neem Clay Mask.  I've been extremely busy in the past months, dealing with a sick kitty, an injured boyfriend, work conferences and projects and trying to fit a vacation & garage sale into the middle of it all.  Needless to say, I was in desperate need of some pampering and me time.  I was so happy to see this mask sitting in my bathroom.  It was a great way to pamper myself and unwind for 10-15 minutes.  Sometimes it is good to stop everything for a little while and just breathe.

It was obvious there is sunflower oil in the mask when I opened it.  I could see some of it on top of the clay mixture so I gently mixed it back in with my hands before applying to my face.  I applied a thin layer to my face.  I could feel some exfoliating granules along with the clay and oil. At first it felt very cool and tingly on my face.  Remember that feeling when we were kids and used Noxema or Seabreeze, far from natural but that fresh cool tingle on my face used to feel so good.  Of course, back then, we all wanted to be like that Noxema commercial girl.  Well, this natural face mask gives that same sensation! It also feels warming at the same time.  It is a very cool feeling and hard to describe.  Once I had the mask on for about 15 minutes, I gently rinsed it off...with cool water as directed.  I normally rinse my face with warm water so this was a change.  The cool water felt so nice on my skin.  The mask came off very easily, not like some masks where you have to keep trying to wipe your face, sometimes so hard your poor skin turns red.

My face glowed and felt so soft.  I always love to stroke my face when I use a product like this and it feels like baby skin.  I highly recommend this lovely mask.  It is gentle, cleansing yet hydrating, easy to use and remove and gives you a little 10-15 minute me time break.

The masks normally retails for $24.95 but is currently on sale for $21.95.  Check it out at their site:
