Honeybee Gardens Eye Liner in Envy

One of the items I purchased from Honeybee Gardens to try out was their eye liner pencil.  I picked Envy which is an emerald green shade.

The pencil works well.  It applies smoothly and you can layer the color for more boldness.  It feels light on.  The color lasts.  I was quite happy with this.  My only complaint is the same one I have of most pencils...sometimes the wooden part of the pencil doesn't all sharpen away so be careful and don't press too hard on your eye when applying.  For $7.99, this is a great natural beauty buy.

A pic of me wearing Mojito from their Party Girl Shadow Palette along with Envy Liner and their Truly Natural Mascara.

Here are some tips for sharpening your pencils:

1) Never press the pencil into the sharpener. Place the tip gently into the sharpener and twist, allowing the blade to do all the work. The JobaColors Eye Liner is a bit softer than most eye liner formulas, allowing it to glide easily on the skin without pulling the delicate tissue. Therefore, more care needs to be taken when sharpening.

2) Never sharpen to a sharp point.

3) Always make sure you twist 360 degrees, and only do this once. Check the pencil. If it is not sharp enough, twist 360 degrees again. This ensures an even tip.

4) Use a good, sharp sharpener. Ours works great!
