Dr. Hauschka Translucent Bronze Concentrate

A while ago I wrote about a consultation appt I had with an esthetician, certified in Dr. Hauschka skincare.  I picked up a few products to try out, some samples and some full size at 20% off and wanted to use them for a while before I reviewed them.

Today I want to talk about Translucent Bronze Concentrate.  This has become a daily necessity to me.  I wear it in the morning with my moisturizer.  You can use it with any moisturizer.  I currently use it with Acure Organics Oil Control Day Cream, or if I am having a day when I need more moisture boost, I wear some Burt's Bees Radiance Day Cream.  I also plan to test it out with Indie Lee Squalane Facial Oil as the esthetician said it would work well with that too.

You place your moisturizer in your hand, then a tiny dot of the translucent bronze concentrate and mix them together.  Then you gently apply it to your face.  I am pretty fair toned, though I tan and have some olive undertones from my dad's side of the family.  This works well for me.  I don't feel overly made up or artificially bronzed.  It acts as a bit of a bronzer for your face depending on how much you use and you don't need a lot.  I apply it to my face and neck area.

My skin looks and feels great and has a nice canvas for applying my mineral make up afterwards.  It gives a nice even tone and a lovely glow.  On a no make up day, this would totally give me that little boost I need to feel like I look healthier and more radiant. It retails for 39.95 but lasts for a long time.  You can also mix it with body moisturizers and apply it to your body.  I haven't tried that yet but might want to test it out on my pale legs soon.

  1. So if I use argan oil and then BE face cream, I would mix a tiny dab of the Hauschka product with my BE?

    1. You would mix this with your argan oil or face cream.

  2. Uuuh, nice review Heather. This product would be great for my skin, as I have a pretty uneven tone. $40 is a bit steep, but I guess you won't have to buy another one for a long time ( I am thinking 6 months. ? )

Anyway, not sure if I can find it here, in my country.

  3. I'd love to see a swatch of the product on skin.

    1. This doesn't really show up on skin, especially when you mix it with moisturizer. Just gives a hint of warm glow. I can't really get it to show up on camera aside from trying to show how my face looks before and after.
