Acure Organics Argan Stem Cell + CoQ10 Dry Shampoo

I was sent Acure Organics new Argan Stem Cell + CoQ10 Dry Shampoo to try out for review.  I have been interested in testing out more natural haircare products so this was a great one to start with.  This dry shampoo is a quick natural way to absorb oils and grime on your scalp and hair so you feel clean without doing a full shampoo and condition.

When I tested this out, I sprinkled it on my hands and massaged it into my scalp, especially around my hairline bordering my face, the part in my hair and any other spots where I tend to notice that I get oily. Directions say to brush it out after you do that but my hair is getting long and is quite curly so brushing is a no go for me so I combed my fingers through my hair and did an upside down shake and that seemed to work fine.

I used style products from Deva Curl the day before so I was able to use Deva Curl Mister Right to reactivate them and scrunch my hair.  My hair looked great and had more volume and oomph than usual.  I normally don't skip shampooing because my skin can start to break out around my hairline.  This product prevented that from happening.  It worked really well and lasted.  I was happy with the look and feel of my hair, though I did have some knots.  I think I'll have to figure out how to deal with the knots but this will be amazing when I blow out my hair straight.  It will be easier to brush my hair out that way, plus I can straighten my hair the night before instead of trying to take the time in the morning before work.

You can find it at http://www.acureorganics.com/ and it retails for $12.99 which is a decent price in my book.

  1. thnx for the tips, looks good, I am currently using a good shampoo that has helped me a lot, it's Pro Naturals Moroccan Argan Oil Hair Shampoo, its gentle cleansing formula restores damaged hair and provides color protection, leaves soft, light, silk and shiny. :D luv it :)

  2. Your hair looks good! I also have the same texture of hair and it's good to know that we can actually use organic shampoo such as this. However, I'm currently taking a CoQ10 supplement as recommended by my doctor and I want to find out if it can provide the same effect on my hair? I've been using it for 3 weeks now and would like to learn if it is really effective.

I look forward to reading your comment! Sorry I had to set up moderation because I was getting a lot of spam.
