Hello Kitty Ruby Brush Set

I have to admit, one of my biggest fears was surgery of any kind.  I had to go to the oral surgeon to get my wisdom teeth out and though I was nervous, I am proud that I didn't freak out or have an anxiety attack or anything like that.   I had a coupon for $20 off $50 at Sephora so to celebrate my bravery and cheer myself up from many days of eating nothing but soup & jello, I placed an order.  One of the items I got for myself was the Hello Kitty Ruby Brush Set.

When this kit arrived, it seemed bigger than I remembered them being in the store.  It is adorable and I am so happy I got it.  It was already marked down to $34 so I added a nail polish and small Pacifica item to my cart for free shipping and enough spent to use my discount. There is a comment on the Sephora site complaining about the cost, man, this person has obviously never been to a Sanrio store.  Hello Kitty is not a cheap date but she is well worth it!!!

The kit is just plain cute, I love it.  I love the brushed metallic red color which seems to be a theme in a lot of beauty items I have purchased this holiday season.  It comes with a face brush, eyeshadow brush, shader/blending brush, angled eyeliner brush and lip brush.  All the brushes are synthetic which is my new fave kind of brush.  I think I will store all my mini brushes there from now on.  Here are some pics!

I am not affiliated with this company. I purchased these products myself for personal use unless otherwise noted.
