Bare Escentuals Sephora Insider Introducing Color Shift

I could not resist when this was finally available to order at Sephora. What a great collection! I love the new Color Shift shade in gold/blue and the liner and lippie are fabulous too.  The lipgloss in Starfruit is really pretty on, so summery. The Black Sea liner is a perfect shade of greenish blue. The gold/blue color shift may be the prettiest one yet.  I kept looking at myself in the mirror when I had it on, just to admire my eyes. Boost blush comes in this one.  I already own it but it is one of my favorite BE blushes.

Here are pics of the kit.

Vapour Organic Beauty - I won a prize!

I follow a lot of natural beauty brands on facebook.  It is a good way to learn about products or promos.   Vapour Organic Beauty is one of the brands I follow.  They had a contest for the 4th of July and I was one of the winners, woohoo!  I got my prize from them and have to say I was very pleased. They said we could send a pic of ourselves to help them pick colors for us and I think they chose well for me.  I received a full size Illusionist Concealer and full size Siren Lipstick in Tryst. Along with those, I got a sample of 2 of their foundations and coupons for a future purchase.

The concealer is nice.  It comes in tube form.  You are supposed to rub it on the back of your hand to warm it up first and then it applies smooth and you can blend it into your skin.  They selected shade 010 for me which is the lightest shade.  I have not tried the foundation yet as I am pretty loyal and hooked to my BE but I might give it a whirl out of curiosity.

The lippie is really nice too.  A bright shade but it isn't completely opaque.  This will be great for fun bolder looks.

Here are some pics!

Bare Escentuals Spotlight On: Big & Bright Eyeliner

First off, I want to say sorry for the lack of posts this week.  The heat wave wiped me out and my beauty room was insanely hot so I avoided it until I could stand to go back in there.  Now it is nice out again and the windows are open.

I wanted to tell you about the new Bare Escentuals Spotlight On: Big & Bright Eyeliner Kit.  I picked this up at preview night at the boutique but it is available now online.  This was my top choice of all the new Spotlight kits because I wanted more than 1 item in the kit.  Each of the other ones only had 1 new thing that I really wanted so I figured I better be good and only get the 1.

The kit comes with Flawless Definition Volumizing mascara and Opal eyelid primer.  I already have these and love them so it can never hurt to have more.  The big sellers for me were the double ended big & bright liner in Black Iris and Slate and the smudge brush.  That brush is amazing.  I have always played around with smudging the B&B liners but this brush does it in ways I didn't expect.  You can now wear Big & Bright liners as lid or crease color too!!!  Black Iris is a gorgeous color.  I just love a good purple.

If you want to see pics of this on, I posted some after preview night.  You can see them here

Here are some pics!

Bare Escentuals Prime Time Primer Shadows

I finally picked up 2 of the new Prime Time Primer Shadows at the Bare Escentuals Preview night last Thursday and then won one of them during the anniversary contests on Mineral Madness.  I have been wearing Urban Nature non-stop.  Can't wait to try Chroma Violet and Racing Green.  I really like these.  They might not be for everyone but I really like them. I love the versatility of them. You can wear them bold, you can wear them lighter and blended out, you can layer them with each other or with other eye colors.  When I wear them, I put a light coat of Bisque on my lids first since I have darker veiny lids.

Here are some pics.  I will be posting looks with them eventually.

COCOECO Magazine

I recently discovered this magazine online and wanted to share.  It has a lot of great information and a lot of my favorite natural and low chemical beauty brands are featured. It also has some other brands I am hoping to try.

You can check out their latest issue online here:

Bare Escentuals Flawless Definition Curl & Lengthen Mascara

One of the items I picked up at the Bare Escentuals boutique on Thursday was the new Flawless Definition Curl & Lengthen Mascara.  I have so many other Flawless Definition mascaras and volumizing mascaras in my back up stash, I really didn't think I needed another one but I think this is my new favorite!

I have okay lashes, they are dark but short so if I put eyeliner on, you barely see them without mascara.  I also have eye allergies which often make my eyes itch and if I don't do a special cleansing treatment often enough, I will itch too much and pull out lashes.  I've done it since I was a little kid so I at least know the allergies aren't from my eye make up.  Phew! This mascara makes my lashes appear much longer and the hint of curl helps make them have more oomph. The amount of curl really makes my lashes more visible.  I do have a bit of natural curl to my lashes but they are so short, the curl doesn't bring them up towards my brow as much as this mascara does.  My lashes really pop.

Here are some pics!
