My First butter LONDON Nail Polish

While on my 12 day roadtrip, I managed to stop at an Ulta in the Kansas City area, yay!  It was a BF/GF roadtrip so I didn't get to do a lot of girly stuff so I was more than happy to make a quick Ulta run.  I stopped in to ask for the brand spanking new Bright & Beautiful Collection from Bare Escentuals and saw a butter LONDON display.  I had wanted to try butter LONDON since I saw it in Portland while shopping with my friend Nancy.  She told me it was one of the brands free of the "big 3" bad chemicals so I made a mental note to try it.  I finally bought one to test out and painted my toe nails with it last night. The shade I chose was West End Wonderland.

It applied pretty easily, coated well, I did 2 coats and then applied a quick drying oil.  My poor feet had been through a lack of pampering and tons of walking around on my trip so they needed a fresh coast of pretty sparkles.  Once in a while the polish seemed to get a little gloppy but it still applied well.  I wonder if it only happened because I was propped in front of the air conditioner?  I will find out eventually.  Either way, it applies well, coats well and looks pretty darn pretty.  Here are some pics.

  1. Gorgeous colour :)

  2. I love some of the colors in butter London... I wish there was a place around me that carried them!
