My Beauty Nook

Just wanted to share a pic of my beauty nook.  I did some reorganizing and moved things around a little bit in the tower room.  I also had to add some storage so I could keep up with my collection.  I look forward to having more room someday so I can stop stacking upwards and spread out a bit more.

  7. Oh this set up vanity area is beautiful!! I would LOVE to have a little "beauty corner" of my own. I REALLY like all the really nice containers that you have to keep all your jars and brushes nice and neat and inviting :). This will be my new goal! One thing I was wondering, do you natural light coming in close by? I don't know HOW many times I have applied my makeup and blended, only to find I STILL looked like a dragqueen! You are one LUCKY lady. PLUS you have a guy who isn't a "jerk" about having "so much makeup"! MOST of them don't get it and thinks you only should 3 items in one little bag! Do they EVER look in their tool boxes? I aspire to the greatness of your makeup corner!

  8. He doesn't have a big tool collection but video games...that is his BE.

I do have natural light coming in. This is all set up in a tower room that has windows behind it. Plus the ottlite makeup light that I use is as close to natural light as you can unnaturally get.

  9. Holy freakin' wow! So jealous! How do you keep all of the drawers and nooks clean, especially since most of the make-up is mineral form?

  10. I don't really have trouble with the minerals getting messy, especially not with the storage. I sometimes have to clean the placemat area or around my make up mirror, the rest just needs a quick wipe off or swiffer duster swish and it is good to go.
