Zoya Nail Polish

I am not sure if you saw the blog post I made a while ago about nail polish and how there are 3 big chemicals you should try to avoid in them.  Here is a link to that one:  http://heathersnaturalbeauty.blogspot.com/2010/01/safer-nail-polishes.html

One of the nail polish companies that happens to not use the "big 3" as many refer to these chemicals is Zoya.  I had not tried Zoya before and it is not readily available in my area.  I believe there is one salon in Albany which is an hour away.  I found it much easier to order online.  I started with the Zoya Sparkle Collection which I love.

More recently, Zoya had a promo that if they got 20,000 fans on facebook, they would give those fans a code to get 3 free nail polishes and they did it!  Not only did they get 20,000 fans, they passed 30,000 fans and today are at 39,368 fans! Congrats Zoya! With the promo code, you got 3 free full size nail polishes and only had to pay shipping.  Visit Zoya on facebook: http://www.facebook.com/#!/ZoyaNailPolish

Zoya posted their final numbers from this promo:

"Well here are the final numbers for the Facebook promotion: We processed 311,487 orders, which means that we are sending out 934,461 FREE bottles of nail polish."

I finally got my order from the promo this week and wanted to post swatches as a thank you to Zoya for a great promo but also to share what the colors are like with my readers.  I did swatches of ALL the Zoya colors I own, not just the free ones I ordered. Hope you like them!

Zoya also does something new called color spoons.  You can order these to see what nail colors will look like without ordering the whole bottle. They are like little nail shaped plastic pieces with the nail color on them so you can hold them right over your nail.  They sent out free ones for the new Intimate Collection with the promo orders so I will include a pic of that here too.

If you click on the pics, you can see a much bigger version of them.

Zoya Sparkle Collection

The following are the Zoya colors that I ordered through the Facebook Promo:

I am not affiliated with this company. The Zoya Sparkle Collection was purchases for personal use and the other Zoya colors shown here were ordered through a promotion where only shipping has to be paid.  Acquiring these nail colors for free did not sway my opinion when writing this blog entry.
