Bare Escentuals Skincare 2-day Preview Sale and a new BE Cares Color

Just wanted to give the heads up to everyone that Bare Escentuals is having a preview sale for their new skincare line.  Some of our old favorites are there under a new name and pretty new packaging but there are some new products too.  Well worth a look.  The preview sale is only for 2 days online and in boutiques.  You can use the code PREVIEW when you checkout online for free shipping.  Preview sale dates: Feb 10-11 2011.You can access the sale here: BE preview Sale!

A special note on the preview sale: A new BE Cares Charity Color is out during this preview sale.  I know the person this was created in honor of so it makes it all the more special to me.  It goes to a great cause as well.  Please be sure to check out Sweet Smile! A gorgeous purpley gray glimmer.

  3. I really like your blog! I use the Bare Minerals & Bare Escentuals line also and love their products. I was wondering if you have found any natural hair color products in your research? I have recently started doing research on natural products as well but hadn't found any good hair color products yet. I agree with your philosophy and I also want to try to cut out as many of the bad chemicals as possible. I have a blog that is also about natural products and healthy lifestyles (mine is fairly new) and I really like to see others who care about the environment and consumers health and well being. I saw your link on the Yes To Carrots blog. Thanks for the good information.

  4. HI Michelle, Thanks for visiting my blog. I am sorry to say that I have not tested many natural hair color products. I gave up coloring my hair and only get highlights done about 2 times per year. The one I have liked best is Aveda professional hair color but I think you need to get it done in their salons to get to use the products. If you want to look at their info, here is a link:

    HTH! ~Heather

  5. Thanks Heather, I'll look into Aveda. This has been one area I have had a hard time finding natural products for, one friend recommended henna but I know you have to let your hair grow out if you ever want to use any other colors again and that makes me nervous. I've used the environmental working group website and almost all hair colors are in the bad zone.

  6. You're welcome. This is why I decided to stop coloring and do a minimal exposure of highlights twice per year. I only have them do a 1/2 head foil and luckily my curly hair can handle having this done so rarely. Once I start getting more gray, I might need to look into more alternatives or head to my closest aveda salon.

I look forward to reading your comment! Sorry I had to set up moderation because I was getting a lot of spam.
