My top choice for all natural face mask

My top choice for all natural face mask is:

Aztec Secret Healing Clay Mask

I wrote a full review of this here quite a long time ago but this is still my all-time fave face mask.  I use it about once a week and if I don't, I can tell. I always mix it with apple cider vinegar and my skin feels amazing afterwards.  Usually I buy it from mothernature.com but it is available elsewhere.

"Aztec Secret Healing Indian Clay  is bentonite clay, considered to be the very finest. This clay comes from Death Valley, California. It is sun dried for up to six months in temperatures that reach up to 134 degrees. Aztec Secret Indian Healing Clay contains over 50 natural mineral compounds."

Bare Escentuals Beyond Gorgeous Collection

The other thing I ordered from Preview Night was the Beyond Gorgeous Collection.  It is a 9 piece kit.  I love the packaging.  I have a thing for unique boxes that can be reused.  I think the colors are great.  Many have commented that it looks similar to the Girlfriend Collection so I am going to include pics so you can compare.

This collection comes with a Mineral Veil, a blush, 2 eye colors, 2 pink handled brushes, a Big & Bright liner pencil, a 100% natural lip gloss and the Volumizing flawless definition mascara.  I am pretty sure I have use for every item in the kit. The colors look like they will work on all skin tones.  I am very neutral toned so I can easily wear both warm and cool.  I think I will wear this collection today, so stay tuned for a post later today.

On with the pics!

Swatches of eye colors are dry first, then foiled with water.

The Girlfriend Collection Swatches for Comparison:
To me they are a similar color family but I find the GF Collection to be a bit warmer toned and less sparkly. More peachy than pink, more matte than shimmer, more green than bronze. The photo below was taken with flash so you can view it close to the Beyond Gorgeous flash swatches above.

Bare Escentuals High Shine Colors - Now in Tubes!

I got my preview night order from bareescentuals.com today.  So excited!  First I will talk about the high shine colors. I ordered the customizable eye kit where you can get 3 eye colors and a bag with a mini mirror all for $39.  Not bad at all!  These high shine colors will retail for $16 a piece according to info released so I saved a lot, not to mention that I got to use a coupon, woohoo!  It was hard to pick my colors.  I knew I HAD to have Patina which is the green shade in the 6 being released.  Then of course I needed Moonshine which is the purple.  Now I was stuck with a decision.  I wavered back and forth between teal blue, gold and copper and finally let gold win since I think I will wear it more often which means the 3rd color is Glisten.

I have only had these in my possession for about an hour or so but I love them.  The tubed are just a bit longer than my fingers so I am guessing 3 inches long.  When you open them you can tell they are well protected from the air and other elements because you can hear and feel that pop as the applicator practically comes out of the tube on its own from the air pressure LOL The ingredients are still all natural which makes me a happy camper.  The applicator is nice, some of the eye color can get built up on it and make a mess when opened so I just wipe the applicator on the inner rim of the tube like I would with mascara to prevent much from falling off.  You can apply with the applicator directly or I have seen that you can use a brush and apply that way.  I think most are putting the brush on the color on the applicator and not dipping into the tube of color.  The colors are gorgeous and they are dry.  This isn't the typical tube eye color that is all wet and sticky.  It applies dry, you can totally blend it all out if you want.

Edited to add: I think this would be great to keep in your bag if you plan to go out later.  What a great way to pump up your look for a night on the town!  Great size and they seem airtight so I doubt they would leak.

I took swatches of the colors I got as well as pics of the packaging.  Enjoy!
