Safer Nail Polishes!

One of the harder things to find or figure out on my mission to go all natural with beauty items has been finding good nail polish that is still safe. I haven't gone 100% natural with them yet but have gone low chemical. The most important chemicals to avoid with nail polish are:
  1. Dibutyl phthalate (DBP)
  2. Formaldehyde
  3. Toluene (methylbenzene, toluol, phenylmethane)
For more info on this, I am going to send to you an awesome nail polish blog: All Lacquered Up
and also: BellaSugar

So far I am a big OPI fan and hope to try Zoy sometime soon. I almost never paint my fingernails but like to keep my toes done year round.

I am not affiliated with OPI or Zoya. Pin It StumbleUpon

  1. I agree, nailpolish without those toxins, is really better for you and the environment. I haven't had a mani in awhile though, but I am planning to soon, and when I do, I am getting myself some OPI.
