Chicken Katsu & Baked Fries

Partial Success with this cooking attempt. The baked french fries smelled great but I cut them too thin in hopes of them cooking all the way through and left them in too long. Next time, I will be sure to cute them into larger wedges. The chicken katsu came out great though my boyfriend thought it was a little bland. Last time I cooked he said I used too much pepper so I went light this time and he said it was bland...you just can't win LOL I liked it a lot because it is more about the juicy chicken and crunch of the panko bread crumbs.
